Description

Delicious chocolate cream cheese filling inside fresh strawberries.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1218 Medium to Large Strawberries
  • 4 oz Cream Cheese (softened)
  • Pinch Salt
  • 1/3 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 3 tbsp Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 2 tbsp Cocoa Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 3 tbsp Heavy Whipping Cream

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry strawberries.
  2. Cut berries in half lengthwise, leaving the stem on the berries for easier handling.
  3. If desired, use an extra small melon baller or 1/4 tsp measuring spoon to scoop out a small bit of the berry to make room for more filling.
  4. In a large bowl with a hand-held or standing mixer, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, salt (and cocoa powder if using), until smooth and creamy. Mix in the heavy whipping cream and vanilla.
  5. Add the mixture to a pastry bag fitted with a small tip. Pipe about 1 tsp of filling onto each prepared strawberry. Alternatively, you can spoon it onto the berries.
  6. If desired, top with crushed graham crackers, cookies, nuts or other garnish.
  7. Enjoy immediately!

Notes

  • For a more indulgent treat, use flavored whipped cream.
  • These are best served fresh but can be refrigerated for a few hours.
