Description
Delicious chocolate cream cheese filling inside fresh strawberries.
Ingredients

- 12–18 Medium to Large Strawberries
- 4 oz Cream Cheese (softened)
- Pinch Salt
- 1/3 cup Powdered Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 3 tbsp Heavy Whipping Cream
- 2 tbsp Cocoa Powder
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 3 tbsp Heavy Whipping Cream
Instructions
- Wash and dry strawberries.
- Cut berries in half lengthwise, leaving the stem on the berries for easier handling.
- If desired, use an extra small melon baller or 1/4 tsp measuring spoon to scoop out a small bit of the berry to make room for more filling.
- In a large bowl with a hand-held or standing mixer, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, salt (and cocoa powder if using), until smooth and creamy. Mix in the heavy whipping cream and vanilla.
- Add the mixture to a pastry bag fitted with a small tip. Pipe about 1 tsp of filling onto each prepared strawberry. Alternatively, you can spoon it onto the berries.
- If desired, top with crushed graham crackers, cookies, nuts or other garnish.
- Enjoy immediately!
Notes
- For a more indulgent treat, use flavored whipped cream.
- These are best served fresh but can be refrigerated for a few hours.
