Description

Delicious and easy-to-make peanut butter chocolate chip oat bars that are perfect for a snack or dessert!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup natural peanut butter
  • 1 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • ½ cup granola
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • a pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, natural peanut butter, and honey (or maple syrup). Stir until you achieve a smooth and uniform mixture.
  3. Fold in the chocolate chips, granola, and vanilla extract. Sprinkle in a pinch of salt for that extra zing!
  4. Pour the mixture into your lined baking dish and press it down firmly with a spatula or your hands.
  5. Place the dish in the oven and allow it to bake for 15-20 minutes, until the edges are golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely. Once cooled, lift the bars out using the parchment, cut them into squares, and enjoy!
