Description

A bright, flavorful cilantro sauce that’s perfect for drizzling over dishes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. In a blender or food processor, combine cilantro, garlic, olive oil, lime juice, salt, and pepper.
  2. Pulse the mixture until it reaches a smooth consistency, scraping down the sides as necessary. This should take about 30 seconds.
  3. Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning if needed. You can add more salt, pepper, or lime juice to suit your preference.
  4. Either enjoy immediately drizzled over your dish or transfer it to an airtight container for storage.

Notes

  • Can be substituted with parsley for a milder taste.
  • Fresh garlic is recommended, but garlic powder can be used in a pinch.
  • Avocado oil can be used as a substitute for olive oil.
  • If limes aren’t available, lemon juice can be used instead.
  • Adjust salt and pepper according to taste.
