- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- In a blender or food processor, combine cilantro, garlic, olive oil, lime juice, salt, and pepper.
- Pulse the mixture until it reaches a smooth consistency, scraping down the sides as necessary. This should take about 30 seconds.
- Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning if needed. You can add more salt, pepper, or lime juice to suit your preference.
- Either enjoy immediately drizzled over your dish or transfer it to an airtight container for storage.
Notes
- Can be substituted with parsley for a milder taste.
- Fresh garlic is recommended, but garlic powder can be used in a pinch.
- Avocado oil can be used as a substitute for olive oil.
- If limes aren’t available, lemon juice can be used instead.
