Description

This creamy pepperoncini chicken is a flavorful and easy dish that’s perfect for any night of the week.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup sliced pepperoncini (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1 tbsp pepperoncini brine
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add chicken breasts and sear 4–5 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
  4. Add diced onion to the skillet and sauté until soft. Stir in garlic for 30 seconds.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and scrape up browned bits.
  6. Add heavy cream, cream cheese, pepperoncini slices, and pepperoncini brine. Stir until smooth.
  7. Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over the top, and reduce heat to low.
  8. Simmer for 10–12 minutes, or until chicken is fully cooked and sauce thickened.
  9. Garnish with extra pepperoncini and fresh parsley. Serve warm.
