- 1 wheel of brie cheese
- 1 cup cranberry sauce
- 1 package puff pastry
- 1 egg (or almond milk and flour for vegan option)
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary or thyme (or dried herbs in smaller amounts)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut it into squares—about 3×3 inches.
- Place a small piece of brie cheese in the center of each pastry square and top it with a spoonful of cranberry sauce. Sprinkle herbs on top if using.
- Fold the corners of the pastry square over the brie and cranberry sauce, pinching to seal.
- Beat an egg and brush it over the tops of the pastry bites.
- Place the assembled bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastry is puffed and golden brown.
- Allow them to cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
Notes
- For a vegan option, use almond milk mixed with flour as the egg wash.
- These bites can be served warm or at room temperature.
