Ingredients

  • 1 cup Almond Flour

  • 1 cup Almond Milk
  • 2 teaspoons Yeast

  • 3 cups Whole Wheat Flour
  • as needed Natural Food Coloring

Instructions

  1. Warm the almond milk to 110°F, then stir in the yeast and a teaspoon of honey. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Whisk together the whole wheat flour, almond flour, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Beat the eggs, remaining honey, and olive oil in another bowl. Add the yeast mixture.
  4. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture. Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Roll out the dough and shape it into a ring, adding a plastic baby or nut for fun!
  6. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for an hour.
  7. Brush the cake with almond milk and natural food coloring for festive decoration.
  8. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
