Description
A delicious and hearty chicken lasagna layered with ricotta, mozzarella, and marinara sauce.

- 1 pound cooked chicken, shredded
- 9 lasagna noodles
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Cooking spray or olive oil, for greasing
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large pot, cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, ricotta cheese, chopped spinach, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or olive oil to prevent sticking.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of the baking dish. Then, layer three lasagna noodles on top.
- Spread half of the chicken mixture over the noodles, followed by a third of the mozzarella cheese and a sprinkle of Parmesan.
- Add another layer of marinara sauce, three noodles, the remaining chicken mixture, half of the remaining mozzarella cheese, and more marinara.
- Top with the last three noodles, the rest of the marinara sauce, and sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil to keep the moisture in while it cooks.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- After removing from the oven, let it cool for about 5-10 minutes before slicing to allow the layers to set.
Notes
- Feel free to customize the vegetables according to your taste.
- Thoroughly drain the spinach to avoid excess moisture in the lasagna.
