Description

Deliciously tender BBQ chicken made in a crockpot, perfect for sandwiches or served with sides.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 1/2 cups BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)
  • 1/4 cup Italian dressing
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: buns, coleslaw, or sandwich toppings

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together BBQ sauce, Italian dressing, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken, making sure it’s well coated.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender and easily shredded.
  5. Shred the chicken directly in the crockpot using two forks and stir well to coat in the sauce.
  6. Serve warm on buns, in wraps, or over rice with your favorite sides.
