- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- ½ cup white chocolate chips (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder.
- In another bowl, cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the butter-sugar blend, mixing gently.
- Fold in the dried cranberries until evenly distributed.
- Spread the mixture into the prepared baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow cooling before preparing the frosting by beating cream cheese and powdered sugar with melted white chocolate chips.
- Spread frosting over cooled bars, cut into squares, and serve.
