Description
Delicious chocolate chip cookies with oats and M&Ms that are soft and chewy.
Ingredients

- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)
- 1 cup M&Ms
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together rolled oats, flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream softened butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and mix in peanut butter until smooth.
- Gradually combine dry ingredients with the wet mixture. Fold in chocolate chips and M&Ms.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheets about two inches apart. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden but centers remain soft.
- Let cool slightly before enjoying warm.
Notes
- For a chewier cookie, add an extra egg.
- Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week.
