Description

A deliciously elegant appetizer featuring sweet pears and savory prosciutto.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe pears
  • 4 oz thinly sliced prosciutto
  • 3 tbsp raw honey
  • 2 tbsp toasted pine nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Wash, dry, and halve the pears lengthwise, removing the core.
  3. Wrap each pear half snugly with prosciutto.
  4. Place the wrapped pears cut-side up on the baking sheet with space between them.
  5. Drizzle honey generously over each pear half.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the prosciutto is crispy and the pears are tender. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Toasted pine nuts add a nice crunch but are optional.
  • Serve warm as an appetizer or side dish.
