Description

Delicious strawberry cheesecake served in taco-shaped shells, perfect for dessert lovers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup water (as needed)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced
  • Fresh mint leaves (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, salt, and cinnamon.
  2. Add melted butter and mix well. Gradually add water until the dough forms.
  3. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Roll the dough into small circles, about 4 inches in diameter. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. While still warm, bend the baked circles over a spoon or crinkled aluminum foil to form taco shells.
  6. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  7. Gradually add powdered sugar and continue mixing until well combined.
  8. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  9. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  10. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.
  11. Cover the cheesecake mixture and refrigerate for about an hour to firm up.
  12. Once the taco shells are cool and the cheesecake filling is chilled, fill each taco shell with the cheesecake mixture using a piping bag or spoon.
  13. Top with sliced strawberries.
  14. Optionally, garnish with fresh mint leaves for added flavor and color.
  15. Drizzle with chocolate or strawberry sauce if desired.

Notes
