Description

A delicious and healthy smoothie packed with spinach, banana, strawberries, and pineapple.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups packed spinach
  • 1 medium very ripe banana (peeled, cut into chunks, and frozen, slightly less than 1 cup)
  • 1 cup whole frozen strawberries (about 10 large/medium berries)
  • ¼ cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or milk of choice
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds

Instructions

  1. Place all of the ingredients in a high powered blender in the order listed: spinach, banana, strawberry, pineapple, almond milk, and chia seeds.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. If you’d like a thinner smoothie, splash in a bit more milk.
  4. For a thicker smoothie, add a few handfuls of ice.
  5. Enjoy immediately, or place in an airtight jar and refrigerate for a few hours.
